Civil and political rights and freedoms for women in the Iraqi constitution for the year 2005

Women as Peacemakers Path, one of the paths of Nineveh Peace Forum, run by the #Baghdad_Women_Association, organized an webinar on (civil and political rights and freedoms for women in the Iraqi constitution for the year 2005) via Zoom, on September 5, 2020, the webinar was facilitated by the President of the Baghdad Women Association, Mrs. Liza Nissan Hido. 
Rasha Khaled, the legal advisor of Baghdad Women Association, the lawyer, Alia Al-Husseini, a representative of the Iraqi Bar Association, and the lawyer Reem Rafed, a member of Women as Peacemakers Path in Nineveh, and the webinar’s axes collected rights and freedoms (political, legal and civil) and during which the sections of the Iraqi constitution concerned with the transition to measure implementation indicators were carefully separated.
The texts of the constitution on the ground were accompanied by an accurate diagnosis of the obstacles of translating them and turning them into an executive procedural scope, during which discussions took place between the participants and inquiries were submitted and answered by the speakers, and the webinar was concluded by collecting recommendations and proposals that will be included as items in the subsequent programs of the Assembly.
