Children resilience

Through resilience sessions, the child who participated in the resilience sessions will have the ability to deal more easily with the challenges he faced during his childhood and reduce depression and anxiety disorders. IOM in coordination with the Sinjar Center – Baghdad Women Association, implemented a children’s resilience activity for four weeks during the month of January 2023, with the participation of 12 beneficiaries. To enable the child to come out of difficult experiences with a positive sense, in addition to that the child who has developed flexibility is more able to adapt to change, learn from failure, adapt to loss, maintain his positive behavior, and deal with the challenges and obstacles they face more effectively, and the flexibility of the child will contribute to allowing the formulation of their ideas to try to find the positive.
