Prevention, Monitoring And Reporting On Gender Based Violence
In order to focus on building a system to protect society for the prevention, monitoring and reporting on cases of gender based violence, Baghdad Women’s Association implemented several exercises within the project based on  included the training of Teachers and Students in each of Al Nasera  secondary for Girls, number of  teachers 21 on 90-10 / January / 2011 the number of students trained to the same school 53 on 10 / January 2011, Al Jumhorea high school for boys the number of  teachers 19, the number of males 13  and 6 females  on 12-13 / January 2011 the number of students trained to the same school  50 students on 13 / January 2011, Al Masara secondary for Girls, the number of teachers 19 as of January 16 to 17, 2011 the number of students trained to the same school 47 on 17 / January 2011, Al Buraq high school for boys ,number of  teacher 19 on 17 to 18 January 2011 the number of students trained to the same school, 51 as 17 / January 2011, Jasmine secondary for girls the number of teachers 19  on 19-20 / January 2011 the number of students trained to the same school 48 on 20 / January 2011,  Al shahed Abdullah al-Musawi high school for boys, number of  teachers 19, 8 females and 11male on 15-16 March 2011 the number of students trained to the same school of 50 students as of March 15, 2011, Fadak  secondary for Girls, number of teachers 19 as of March 15 to 16, 2011 the number of students trained to the same school of 50 students as of March 15, 2011, Al Rusafa junior professional for Girls, number of teachers 20 as of March 22 to 23, 2011 the number of students trained to the same school of 50 students as of March 23, 2011, and as of 19 / 20 / 21 / February 22, 2011.On 19-20-21-22 of 2011 BWA implemented the General training involving 10 young men from civil society organizations. And on March 9, 2011 the association implemented the first training in Al Rusafa junior professional for girls within peer to peer in the presence of 31 young women. as of March 12, 2011 BWA implemented the second Training at Baghdad Women’s Association hall within the peer-to-peer in the presence of 30 young people the number of female 7 and 23males.On March 14, 2011 the association implemented the third training in Al Rawafid cultural institution within the peer to peer in the presence of 21people, the number of females 11 and 10 males. On March 24, 2011 BWA implemented the fourth Training in Al Rusafa junior professional for Girls in the presence of 31 young people. On March 26, 2011 the association held a dinner party at the Hall of the Cultural Oil Center, the ceremony included to provide a brief introduction about the projectin addition to the project evaluation by the participants and also identify all of the pros and cons of the project in addition to hearing the proposals and identify the participants on the project.

   
Together For The Protection Of Abused Women
Baghdad Women’s Association  in partnership with the Institute For Women’s Leadership implemented the Project ((Together For The Protection of Abused Women)) to form a quasi-official body composed of female sociologists (including government, civil society, decision makers and many Ministries including the Ministries of Women, Labor, Interior, Justice in addition to lawyers of listening centers) after they gain  experience in the field of Social Research by building their capacity in how to deal with all forms of violence against women in a scientific, academic and not emotional way. The first preparatory meeting within the project held on 30 of October 2010 in the presence of 30 women from “civil society organizations, political parties and the media” on the Hall of Baghdad Women’s Association.  On  the 25-26  of December 2010 BWA carried out the first training attended by 30 women from civil society organizations, political parties and the media to cover the training program, as of 15/16 January 2011 the association implemented the second  training with the presence of  number of civil society organizations, political parties and media to cover the training program, as of February 12 to 13, 2011 BWA implemented the third training with the presence of 29 women from civil society organizations, political parties and the media to cover the training program, as of March 8, 2011 Association  held an extended conference at the Hall of the  Cultural  Oil Center, and it  was attended by 141 people representatives of non-governmental organizations and Ministries such as Ministries of Interior, State and affairs, women, Labor and Social Affairs and Education, the conference has been covered by several news media legible and audible, represented by each of the (Al-Khtwa newspaper / Iraqi news agency / Parliament newspaper/ Bladie channel / Uruk tourism magazine /Al Zaman newspaper  / Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and Al Qethara media .) In the context of creating a mechanism of cooperation and coordination between government agencies and non-governmental organizations to combat violence against women.  Baghdad Women’s Association in partnership with the Institute For Women’s Leadership held a small meeting on21/4/2011 attended by many of the characters that represent different parts of governmental and non-governmental organizations for the purpose of research cooperation and coordination work. In the context of its efforts governmental and non-governmental organizations for the advancement by women and enable them to strengthen their capacity to claim their rights. Baghdad Women’s Association in partnership with the Institute For Women Leading  held the second meeting on may 19, 2011, which reinforced the first meeting in order to form a group of those concerned with women’s rights and that provide different services to support women and promote their role in society .
