BWA organizes workshop on personal hygiene

#Baghdad_women_Association’s Listening and Consulting Center in Al-Ameen District held a voluntary awareness workshop within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq”, supported by UN Women and the European Trust Fund (MADAD).

The workshop, convened on 16 and 17 June 2019 in the compound of Nabi Younis – Nahrawan, dealt with the subject of personal hygiene and the basic steps of hair cutting.

The workshop included all tips and exercises on hair cutting and preserving women’s personal cleanliness. Participants voiced satisfaction with the activity, requesting the centre’s staff to offer more training workshops, mainly ones on sewing.
