Baghdad Women Association accomplished a number of activities in the Psychosocial and Legal Listening and Counseling Center in Al-Ramadi within the project of “connecting voices and Action to end violence against women and girls in the MENA region “

Co-funded by the European Union and with the support of Oxfam in Iraq, the staff celebrated the opening of the center to provide services for women survivors. Later, BWA team implemented three awareness sessions about (GBV, women’s right, reproductive health) with 55 women participants. Also, a meeting with service providers for the referral mapping system was organized with the attendance of 26 service providers. The staff also distributed 25 dignity kits to the beneficiaries during the celebrations of International Women’s Day and several recreational activities were carried out during the celebration Baghdad Women Association team always present what is best for vulnerable women and girls.
