Awareness Workshop

Within the framework of the project (Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq) supported by the European Trust Fund “Madad” and the United Nations United Women, # Baghdad Women Association staff at Dohuk implemented an awareness workshop entitled (Awareness on First Aid ) cooperation with the Red Crescent on October 2, 2019.

The workshop was attended by 30 men and women refugees in Domiz 1 camp in order to raise awareness of first aid for the importance of the first hours of injury to preserve the life of the injured. In practice, at the end of the training, a kit containing medical first aid kits was distributed to the participants.
