Awareness workshop on violence based on gender

On August 1^st . 2019 , at Al Waleed Vocational Training Center, #Baghdad_Women_Association implemented an awareness session on GBV  part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq”, with the support of the United Nations Women’s Fund and the European Trust Fund .

The workshop focused on GBV and the review of the concept of violence, its types and its negative effects on women, with most of the participants interacting with their experiences on the subject and the effects of violence on their lives, and the weakness of services in some governmental institutions to help overcome the effects of violence and address its causes.
