Awareness workshop on UNSCR1325, CEDAW and GBV
In continuation to the activities of the project ” Strengthening access to protection, participation and services to women refugees, Internally Displaced People IDPs and host communities in Iraq” funded by the European Union Regional Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis: EU ” MADAD ” Fund and in partnership with #EuroMed_Feminist_Initiative EFI #BaghdadWomenAssociation conducted an awareness workshop on UNSCR1325 on 22-25th April 2019 in Baghdad. The awareness workshop targeted Ministries such as Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defense, General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / Women Empowerment Department, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Presidency of the Shiite Endowment Bureau, Presidency of the Sunni Waqf Bureau, Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / Department of Organizations. The subjects of the workshop were UNSCR1325, CEDAW and GBV.
