Awareness workshop on GBV and reproductive health
Within the project “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People IDPs and women in Host Communities in Iraq “Funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, “MADAD Fund” with the support of Euro Med Feminist Initiative (EFI) #Baghdad_Women_Association held awareness session about GBV and reproductive health in Domiz 1 camp in Dohuk, on 17-18 November 2019.
The workshop was attended by 10 women and girls for two days in order to develop and expand the ideas of women and girls on the importance of family and community issues to reduce cases of violence and how to address them to promote a healthy society and to share and spread ideas among women and girls as widely as possible.
The outcomes of the workshop were the use and interaction between women and girls on the topics of the workshop in addition to the enthusiasm of participants in the work to disseminate this valuable information to the community, at the end women proposed the continuation of such workshops.
