Awareness workshop for girls on the right to education

The #Baghdad_Women_Association’s Listening and Consulting Center in Seiji, Dohuk, organized an awareness session for a group of girls on the right to education.

The session was held as part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq”, supported by UN Women and the European Trust Fund (Madad).

The aim of the session was to raise legal awareness of the right to education in accordance with Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Education contributes significantly to the protection of the rights of girls by familiarizing them with their rights.
