Al-Karrada LC staff starts conducting legal & health awareness workshops in Baghdad
Al-Karrada LC staff, funded by Norwegian Embassy, started conducting legal, health & peace building awareness workshops in Baghdad.
The first 3-day workshop, held in Al-Saidiya vocational secondary school for girls from 3rd to 5th of November 2015 & attended by 15 students, shed the light on legal topics such as (concept of marriage, the rights of the wife, marriages outside civil courts, early marriages & their legal bad subsequences), health topics such as (personal hygiene, cholera, breast cancer, early marriages and their health bad consequences) and conflict resolution & peace building as well as how to make use of the mediations in that.
This workshop comes as a part of a series of workshops that will be conducted in different areas of Bagdad, for raising the legal, health & social awareness of beneficiaries regarding the topics previously mentioned.
