Activities implemented during the month of October within the project Strengthening the Protective Environment for Women and Girls at Risk or Impacted by GBV in the Context of COVID-1

The staff of Baghdad Women Association implemented during the month of October 2021 and within the project of  (Strengthening the Protective Environment for Women and Girls at Risk or Impacted by GBV in the Context of COVID-1) and with the support of the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and in cooperation with the Lutheran World Federation Recreational psycho/social support for 24 women and girls to provide support and raise awareness for them about electronic blackmail and breast cancer awareness, in addition to holding two professional orientation sessions for 40 girls to increase their skills in using Word programs and how to write a CV to help them strengthen their CV and improve job search opportunities , Two trainings were carried out for service providers in the governorates of Anbar and Nineveh, where 40 people were targeted to build their capacities on case management, how to deal with survivors, and how to work with the referral system between Baghdad Women Association and service providers, and introducing them to the electronic referral link and the mechanism of work with it.

Psychosocial support services, legal advice and free legal representation were also provided to women in the targeted governorates within the project.
