Activities for the month of November / Center for Listening and Psychological/social and Legal Counseling – Bashiqa

Staff of project providing comprehensive services on gender- based violence to the displaced,returned and other vulnerable people in the areas of Mosul,Sinjar,TalAfer,Al-Baaj and the Nineveh plain(Bashiqa)with the support of the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, implemented during November 2021 , two awareness sessions for two days women rights in the personal status law and women rights that is legislated ,the Iraqi constitution and marriage contracts outside the court, divorced women and tribal nuns , How to raise the invitation with the participation of 15 women and girls for each session in Bashiqa center , In addition to the implementation of 2 awareness sessions on gender –based violence entitled psychological abuse and underage marriage and its  impact on girls over a period of two days with the participation of 15 women and girls for each session in Bashiqa Center a meeting was also held with service providers with participation of 20 men and women in Lalish Center hall- Bashiqa , also ,handcraft course was implemented in Bashiqa center for 8 days with the participation of 15 women and girls ,  an anti- violence against women activity (16 days campaign)was also implemented in the presence of 50 participants ,men women and girls , in the Markorkis Hall-Bashiqa. The goal is to reduce Violence against women and girls and to provide the necessary services for women and girls exposed to violence.
