A training workshop on teenage girls guide
Muna Mohsen Damad from #Baghdad_Women_Association participated in a training workshop on (Adolescent Girls’ Guide) provided by Al-Masalla Organization with the support of UNICEF on 24-28 November 2019, in the presence of a number of civil society organizations, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
The training included an introduction to the guide for teenage girls, understanding their needs and life skills, managing sexual violence for teenage girls and reproductive health, identifying sessions to be facilitated by the facilitator, and showing videos on safety and children marriages. Participants were also divided into working groups to discuss each other and come up with suggestions and recommendations.
