A training about UNSCR 1325

#Baghdad_Women_Association staff in Karada implemented a training about the UNSCR 1325 via Zoom on 12-14 July 2020, for 27 female participants, who are members of Iraqi women organizations; within the framework of “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and women in Host Communities in Iraq”, funded by the European Union, through the EU’s Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, the EU ‘Madad’ Fund and implemented by a consortium led by EuroMed Feminist Initiative.

The main outcomes of the training were the gained knowledge about the concept of UNSCR 1325 and the pillars of protection, prevention and participation, the primary indicators of each axis, and its’ implementation. In addition, the training highlighted  identifying the first and second NAP 1325. The participants were provided with a platform for discussions, recommendations and proposals, as it was their first introduction to INAP of UNSCR1325.
