President of #Baghdad_Women_Association Mrs. “Liza Nissan” held a consultation meeting with Mr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi, Director General of the NGOs Department at the General Secretariat for the Council of Ministers, on 20 May 2019, in the presence of lawyers Rasha Khaled and Saja Waad. The aim of the meeting was to expand cooperation between the two parties is based on the great trust that Mr. Mohammed Tamimi has in managing Baghdad Women Association and its active role in representing and raising the voice and issues of Iraqi women. He also expressed his desire to implement joint programs and activities that serve women and girls in different governorates of Iraq. To hold in-depth discussions on the current situation of survivors and their immediate needs in the conflict areas in order to draw up joint working mechanisms to ensure a rapid response.
